Passion & Presence® is a mindfulness-centered approach to sex that teaches couples to open to the experience that is unfolding between them, instead of trying to achieve a particular goal. As couples learn to attune to the erotic energy that resides within both partners, they recover the freedom to play and explore. This invites mystery into the sexual arena and provides more options for satisfaction.
Passion & Presence® is a lifelong practice of conscious awareness, not a technique. It encourages couples to investigate their experience with curiosity and compassion and to align with “what is” rather than trying to match a current experience to another time or place. For this reason, couples who use the practice are better equipped to adjust to sexual familiarity or aging, and to re-ignite passion after being together for many years.
Passion & Presence® grows out of Maci Daye’s 25 years experience practicing Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered, Experiential Psychotherapy and 10 years as a Hakomi Trainer. Her co-facilitator, Halko Weiss, has over 30 years experience working with couples and teaching couples therapy worldwide. He is also a co-founder of the Hakomi Institute.
